This is a tutorial I made for beginners in Photoshop. It shows how to rescue a very poorly backlit photo by turning it into a silhouette with an interesting colored background. The tutorial goes on to illustrate how this silhouette can be animated as a desktop wallpaper in Mac OSx Leopard (or using a desktop switching program in Windows or Linux).
